EUR 5 million was allocated for restoring the first house under the program.
Now co-owners in Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Sumy and Chernihiv regions can >become participants of the program (ua)↗️.
The list of eligible measures for the replacement of windows and doors contains minimum technical conditions and maximum work cost.
So, the minimum requirements for windows and balconies are
- frame width 70 mm;
- double glazing 32 mm thick with one energy-efficient glass, filled with inert gas.
A double-leaf PVC window measuring 1.45x1.45 m with these characteristics has a heat transfer resistance of 0.67 m2K/W.

This window does not meet the requirements of ДБН B.2.6-31: 2021. The minimum allowable value of the reduced heat transfer resistance for the areas in which the program is valid should be 0.90 m2K/W.
This requirement is overcome by a 1.45x1.45 m window with a 70 mm frame and a double-glazed unit, 40 mm thickness, two energy-efficient glasses and filled with inert gas - R = 1.05 m2K/W.

Minimum requirements for entrance doors:
- frame width 70 mm;
- two sealing contours around the perimeter;
- for doors with glass, use a double-glazed unit with 32 mm thickness, and two layers of energy-efficient glasses, filled with inert gas.
Works and materials must not exceed the following:
- for windows - 8 000 UAH/m2;
- for double-glazed units - 4 000 UAH/m2
- for doors - 10 000 UAH/m2.
70% of the total grant amount is paid by the Fund after approval of the application from co-owners. The second tranche is transferred upon completion of the work, which should last no longer than six months.
