At WKC Installer 5.0, which will take place on 20 October 2023, the ift Rosenheim specialist will talk about the features and requirements for installing windows and doors according to the RAL quality system. In the past, ift Rosenheim and the RAL Quality Association for Windows and Entrance Doors have developed an "installation guide". The manual describes the requirements and contains planning principles, tables with the necessary parameters, design schemes, as well as practical and proven implementation details.
The conference headliner, Jürgen Benitz-Wildenburg, will talk about the features and requirements for installing translucent structures according to the RAL quality system.
When installing windows, exterior doors and facades, it is necessary to ensure thermal insulation in winter and summer, protection against moisture (condensation, rain), sound insulation and fire protection.
Estimates from ift reports show that more than 50% of construction defects are the result of improper installation. Professional installation involves careful planning of sealing, insulation and fixing, as well as the selection of suitable components.
