Yevhen Kurulenko, the project coordinator for technical assistance at ReAct4UA GIZ GmbH, presented the develoPPP financial competition↗️ to the window community at the TeamWIN "Days of Windows and Glass in Ukraine" 2023 business conference.
A company can submit a project for co-financing to one of two German organizations, DEG Impulse or GIZ. There are two possible forms of cooperation:
- Project Implementation Agreement
- The company needs more financial resources.
- Support volume can be up to 200,000 euros.
- The company must contribute a minimum of 50% of the project's cost.
- Cooperation Agreement
- Lack of expertise or technical capabilities for implementation.
- Support volume can reach up to 2 million euros.
- The company's contribution should be a minimum of 50% of the project's cost.
Minimum company requirements:
- Private ownership.
- Registered in Ukraine.
- Financial audit for the last two years.
- Minimum annual turnover of 400,000 euros.
- At least 4 full-time employees.
- Adequate economic solvency and liquidity.
- Has the human resources and qualifications for project implementation.
Minimum project requirements:
- Implementation in Ukraine.
- Project contributes to the reconstruction of the state. >
- Realistic goals, as project activities must be completed by 2026.
Several companies can submit one project, forming a partnership or consortium.
Mr. Yevhen emphasized that it takes about 4-8 months from application submission to the signing of the agreement. It's important to note that the project itself must be completed by 2026.
