Leading dealers from different regions discussed how the Ukrainian market for translucent structures is doing. The discussion was attended by companies from Kyiv, Chernihiv, Dnipro, Odesa and Ivano-Frankivsk. The meeting took place during the WKC Installer 5.0 conference.

The year 2022 showed a slump. According to Kostiantyn Vasyliev, head of Kozak PRO in Chernihiv, the main achievement was the retention of the core team.
In Dnipro, private customers continued to order windows. According to Olena Zolotukhina, owner of Elkon, this situation is due to reduced competition. The showroom opened immediately in April 2022. in April 2022. However, the glazing of new buildings has frozen. The head of Lagom, an installation company that specialises in glazing residential complexes and commercial orders, Andrii Babchenko confirmed the general impression that in 2022, new buildings came to a standstill and only at the end of the year did they start completing projects that had already been started.
The premium segment of the market has also gone quiet. According to Daryna Skrypnyk, Head of Sales at Vikna-Star, the premium segment in the Kyiv region came to life in the second half of 2023.

In 2023, the market revived. For example, people who had left before and during the blockade began to return to Chernihiv, and internally displaced people also appeared. Developers have laid down several houses from the pit.
In the Kyiv region, new construction projects have also started and cottage construction is picking up.
In Dnipro, Elkon's work with private customers has allowed the company to grow by about 20% compared to 2021. However, there is almost no new construction of residential complexes. Mostly, projects that have already been designed and laid before the full-scale invasion are being completed.
According to Oleksandr Krasnobryzhyi, CEO of Vikna Salamander, Odesa suffers from shelling almost daily, so the company has launched an emergency replacement service.
In terms of sales, the best situation is in the west of Ukraine. According to Artem Pavlov, a representative of Vikna Perfect in Frankivsk, the situation in the region is calmer, so construction is in full swing. Almost everyone in the market has felt the internal migration of people and businesses to the west of Ukraine.

Over the next few years, companies expect that the main activity will be in recovery.
