The VidnovyDIM programme aims to quickly restore condominiums damaged as a result of the military aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine. And the Foundation's experts check all the objects that have applied for grants.
Programme participants are obliged to act honestly, following the terms and conditions, and within the laws of Ukraine. However, according to the Fund, nine condominiums in Zaporizhzhia and two organisations that conducted technical inspections of the damaged buildings provided inaccurate data.
This was discovered by the Fund's experts after evaluating potential projects. The extent of the damage did not correspond to that stated in the reports. In addition, the causes of the damage were not confirmed at some sites. They were associated with a long service life and were caused intentionally, not due to shelling.
The Energy Efficiency Fund considered the attempt to mislead as a violation of the signed grant agreement. Therefore, the relevant applications from the condominiums were cancelled.
The contractors were issued a warning. If the fact of providing false information is repeatedly established, the Fund may refuse to allow unscrupulous contractors to participate in the programmes.
The VidnovyDIM programme was launched in 2022 for condominiums located in Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Sumy and Chernihiv regions. Currently, the programme is open to condominiums located throughout Ukraine, except for the temporarily occupied territories and areas of active hostilities.
The programme is funded by the European Union.
