Reynaers Aluminium has designed the HiFinity-Magnetic Slider, an aluminium sliding system with magnetic guides for seamless opening. The innovation was showcased at the international construction exhibition BAU 2025.
The Magnetic Slider variant, featuring a magnetic rail, allows manual operation of a sash weighing up to 600 kg.
The technical specifications indicate a maximum sash height of 4000 mm and a width of 3500 mm.
The system's thermal insulation coefficient is Uf = 2 W/m²K. With a warm-glazed unit, the structure's thermal insulation reaches Uw = 0.8 W/m²K. OKNA.ua reminds that the lower the U-value, the less heat the structure allows to pass through.
For comparison, in Ukraine, the minimum Uw value for residential and public buildings ranges from 1.1 to 1.3 W/m²K, depending on the climate zone (DBN B.2.6-31:2021).
Reynaers Aluminium notes that existing sliding structures with HiFinity can be easily upgraded to HiFinity-Magnetic Slider.
