The agreement sets minimum standards for enterprises and helps avoid violations of workers' rights. It defines working conditions, social guarantees, and professional standards for everyone working in construction and building materials production.
For example, the sectoral agreement for 2017-2018 included:
- The minimum tariff rate from January 1, 2018, is 160% of the minimum living wage.
- The working week is no more than 40 hours.
- Employee qualification improvement at least once every 5 years.
- Mandatory medical examination for workers involved in harmful work.
- Mandatory annual paid vacations.
- Prohibition of forced unpaid leave.
- Social protection for workers in case of job loss or incapacity.
