The Kyiv Regional Military Administration and the Energy Efficiency Fund have signed a memorandum of cooperation. This was reported in the press centre of the Fund. The memorandum will facilitate the restoration and thermal modernisation of apartment buildings in Kyiv region. 150 high-rise buildings are planned to be restored this year.
The Kyiv RMA has a programme to support condominium associations and other residential buildings damaged as a result of hostilities in the Kyiv region. It is designed for 2023-2024. This project will finance works that cannot be carried out under the VidnovyDIM programme or for which there are insufficient funds.
It should be noted that only those facilities that are not in disrepair are eligible for the VidnovyDIM programme. Condominiums will be able to receive assistance in financing the repair of load-bearing structures from the Kyiv RMA and then participate in the VidnovyDIM programme.
From 30 March 2023 any engineering systems of a building will be subject to restoration under the VidnovyDIM programme. The Supervisory Board of the EEF approved relevant changes. Earlier, the programme increased the grant amount to UAH 7.2 million.
