23 Ukrainian communities presented priority recovery projects

On 15-16 February, ReBuild Ukraine took place in Poland. It is an international platform aimed at attracting foreign investment in the recovery of Ukraine.

A feature of the event is the opportunity for communities to actively present their vision of priority recovery projects. At the national stand "Ukraine and its Territorial Communities", 23 communities presented themselves.

According to OKNA.ua, the mayors are not just trying to rebuild, but are acting on the principles of
  • Build back better;
  • Reconstruction comprehensive.
There is almost no talk of temporary housing. And they do not only talk about comfortable housing and also about restoring businesses. People need to return somewhere, and to be able to support themselves.

It was nice to see that there is a special interest in projects with zero energy consumption and on the radar.house tool. It helps evaluate architectural projects based on the main quality parameters according to the Active House system.

There are showing a great desire to help rebuild Ukraine Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, Turkey etc. Companies are ready to help with goods, technology and the expertise of qualified professionals.

The VidnovyDIM programme is also underway to help owners rebuild multi-apartment buildings. In two and a half months, 56 applications have been received to take part in the programme.
